Did you know?

Long COVID may involve symptoms that affect the immune, neurological, and respiratory systems for months after infection.

What to Know About Long COVID

Long COVID describes a range of symptoms that persist or reappear after the initial phase of COVID-19 has resolved. These symptoms can impact multiple body systems, including the immune, neurological, and respiratory systems. Researchers believe ongoing inflammation, immune system changes, and lingering viral particles may contribute to these effects. The exact causes are still being studied, but the impact on daily life can be significant.

Triggers for symptom flare-ups often include physical exertion, stress, or new infections. Managing Long COVID typically involves tracking symptoms, pacing activities, and using supportive therapies. Many people benefit from integrative approaches that address both physical and mental health. Working with healthcare professionals to create a personalized plan is important for effective management.

Common Symptoms of Long Covid

While many expect to recover quickly from COVID-19, Long COVID can bring persistent fatigue that makes even simple tasks feel difficult. Brain fog is common, leading to trouble concentrating, forgetfulness, and slower thinking. Muscle aches, headaches, and joint pain may also fluctuate in intensity.

Shortness of breath, chest discomfort, and heart palpitations can occur, especially with activity. Sleep disruptions and mood changes, such as anxiety or depression, are frequently reported. Some people also experience gastrointestinal symptoms like nausea or changes in appetite.

Symptoms often come and go, with good days followed by setbacks. Sensory changes, such as loss of taste or smell, may linger or return unexpectedly. The unpredictable nature of Long COVID can make it hard to plan daily activities and maintain routines.

Traditional Treatments

Conventional care for Long COVID focuses on managing individual symptoms and supporting gradual recovery. This may include physical therapy, occupational therapy, and counseling to address fatigue, cognitive changes, and emotional well-being. Medications are sometimes used to help control pain, sleep disturbances, or other specific issues.

Integrative therapies, such as IV nutrient support, are being explored for their potential to reduce inflammation and promote healing. Lifestyle changes, including pacing activities and managing stress, are also important. Regular follow-up with healthcare providers helps track progress and adjust care plans as needed.

How IV Therapy May Help

Many expect symptoms to fade quickly, but Long COVID often requires ongoing support to manage fatigue, brain fog, and immune imbalance. IV therapy at The DRIPBaR provides targeted nutrients, antioxidants, and hydration directly to your system, which may help replenish depleted reserves and support cellular repair. This method allows for controlled dosing and can be tailored to your specific needs, offering a supportive environment for gradual improvement.

Our services are overseen by licensed nurses who prioritize safety, comfort, and measurable progress. Many clients find that regular sessions help stabilize energy and support mental clarity over time. While individual results vary, consistent care and a holistic approach can make a meaningful difference in your recovery journey.

As part of my preparation for Guinness World Record Battle ropes longest time, hydration is a major part of my preparation. I called and told the staff. They were welcoming, took the time to review my health history, informed me on the best IV options and recommended the All Star IV, which I will recommend to any athlete. My nurse was patient, detailed oriented and made me feel safe and at home. I highly recommend this location for you wellness needs. This place is a hidden gem. I also got the Elite membership and it's was a no brainer for me. I highly recommend this wellness location.

This was the first time I have gone for a vitamin IV therapy and I have to say it was an exceptional. From check in to check out, the staff made me feel comfortable, welcome and safe. The entire experience was 100% top notch and I feel so much better! Maria explained everything clearly and answered all my questions (she was super nice and caring as well). The facility was spotless and it gave a very calm vibe which I needed after a difficult family emergency. Care, comfort and well being ... thank you all so much for making me feel better both physically and mentally!

I absolutely love The DRIPBaR in Scottsdale. I've been a member for a while now and come in monthly for NAD therapy, which has helped me so much with my fibromyalgia. I genuinely notice a difference in how I feel after my treatments. I also really appreciate the monthly membership perks, especially being able to use the LED light therapy with salt, it's incredibly relaxing and a great added bonus. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The owner is very kind as well. I came in this morning and she personally helped m heck in, which made the experience feel more personal and caring. Highly recommend The DRIPBaR Scottsdale if you're looking for quality treatments, a supportive team, and a clean, calming environment.

I have been a 'regular' at this bar for just over 2 years and find the staff, product, and prices awesome. I am considered a hard stick (deep veins) and Maria has no problem stabbing me with the go go juice first try. The staff is friendly and I have referred several people there who love them. Good job y'all.

I have been going to Drip Bar since they opened. I have had several different drips, all of which have been exactly what I needed at the time. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and willing to explain all the benefits related to my specific needs. I have the utmost trust in them and have referred many friends who have had substantial health issues. They are grateful to have found a place where they can discuss their needs and have professional guidance. I extend a sincere "Thank you" to Kelly, Maria and Sarah for all you do for me, my family and friends.
